- This program has a limited capacity that is based on the number of scrum team developer seats that become available during each sprint cycle.

- Applicants that are not accepted during this registration period are welcome to re-apply in the next registration period and/or any other ongoing registration periods in the future.

The SVPM scrum team program offers volunteer opportunities with varying time requirements, field of responsibilities and leadership growth opportunities. Please review each volunteer position carefully before answering the following questions.

SVPM Volunteer Positions

It is essential to the success of the volunteer and this program that each volunteer participating in the SVPM Scrum Team program understands the required Scrum Team volunteer time and duration commitments necessary in obtaining efficient experience in each Scrum Role.

The times and durations required for each of the SVPM Scrum Team roles as outlined in the SVPM Volunteer Positions document has on average been proven to be an efficiently effective duration of experience necessary in the qualification and performance of these roles within the job market.

On average, an end-to-end sprint cycle takes 6-weeks with a 1-week break between sprint cycles. It is important the volunteers commit to at least 3 sprint cycles in order to obtain the full benefit of the program - to obtain an understanding of the Agile Mindset, and its Values, Principles and Practices.
