Doing More with Less Cont’d

What do I mean by “doing more with less” – I mean focus.  We are so busy multi-tasking that we are actually accomplishing less even though we think we are doing twelve things at once.  By paying attention to what you are doing, rather than scattering your attention, you don’t have to come back and re-think “Where was I?” or correct the mistakes you made because you weren’t looking at what you were doing.

Furthermore, by focusing, rather than merely going through the motions, you can quite often find an easier and faster way to do what you were trying to do – a more elegant, simple, parsimonious solution – which, of course, allows you to do more with less.
